What to do with the millions of little gumball-sized nutrient packages called cherry tomatoes that are spilling out of my garden?
Make fresh tomato puree!
Instead of skinning, seeding, cooking down, cooling and using a kitchen-ful of tools, gadgets and dishes to make tomato juice or sauce, this has become my quick fix to incorporating tomatoes into a recipe. I don't have to worry about the skins being bothersome in the dish I make, and we still get all the nutrients that they hold!
I simply wash the tomatoes. Then I blend them.
Oh, I forgot. After I blend them, I add them right into a recipe and we eat them.
That's the end.
