Potatoes, Oven Roasted

Simple is how I cook.  But flavor is important.  These potatoes prove that.

Potatoes, Oven Roasted

8 medium potatoes, scrubbed clean
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Cut potatoes in half the "long" way. (Cut them so that they end up more as "flat-halves" than "rounded-halves"...make sense?)  Place in a large bowl and pour oil and seasonings over; toss to coat.  Place cut side down in a 10x15 baking dish.  Bake for about 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender and the bottom side colors.
